- Does wellbodyKC accept any insurance? Most commercial BCBS, Anthem, United Health Care, GEHA, Aetna, Aetna CVS Health (Kansas), Meritain, and Cigna will be accepted as "in network", otherwise the visit will be considered "out of network".
- wellbodyKC is currently NOT "in network" with Medicaid, community health, Exchange Benefit, or most Healthcare Marketplace products within these plans.
- The exception is Aetna CVS (Kansas) which is in network.
- wellbodyKC is in network for clinic visit but not preferred with Aetna HCA.
- Will I get reimbursed by my insurance company? Commercial BCBS, Anthem, UHC, GEHA, Aetna, Aetna CVS Health (Kansas), Meritain, and Cigna participants will have their visit submitted by wellbodyKC. Copays due at the time of service. It is expected wellbodyKC will receive an EOB within 30 days of the date of visit which will explain services billed. Patients that have another insurance policy- paperwork will be given for you to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier as an "out of network visit".
- What if I need a special test like an MRI or a referral like Physical Therapy? As long as we choose an "in network location" with your insurance company- benefits will likely be considered "in network" for that referral.
- Ordering tests for Aetna HCA - wellbodyKC would be considered out of network.
