Hi there! I wanted to give you a quick recap on Charlotte’s ankle.
We were in to see you a few weeks back trying to race the clock in getting her ready for her gymnastics State competition. '
Well, with your recommendations she was able to be ready just in the nick of time! She medaled in all of her events
and was even state champion on floor, an event we were pretty sure she wasn’t going to be able to compete.
We were thrilled she was even there competing all four events and then she goes and knocks it out of the park with her performances.
Thank you again for your advice and care for Charlotte!! And in your words, “we hope to not have to see you again 😉”.
Thanks again, Jaclyn

Sometimes weeks to over a month before seeing a provider
Increased wait times often due to patient back logs and so many staff involved in process can make getting a test take two weeks when it could take two days!
Referrals often within the same system- even if another provider at a different system would be more appropriate for your situation
Large institutions often run behind with emergency work ins, doctors may feel rushed with multiple duties, and patients may feel pushed through the system. You may have waited 3 weeks to see someone for 10 minutes
Hospital facility fees, confusing billing, multiple departments each with separate billing practices, does no one seem to know your billing answers?
Experts in the specialty you requested- the follow up appointment may be with a different provider - requiring a new explanation of the situation you already discussed, sometimes even at a different location.
Occasional communication with your coach if asked.
Protocols often used for standardized care among a large team- as well as confidence that assistants, residents, fellows, and staff give similar advice- even if not specific to your unique situation.
Long wait times before appointment, often requiring a referral from another health care provider before you can schedule
Each of these is a separate referral to a different specialist- likely in a different building- on a different day- with a separate bill and all with check in paper work - different staff - and different providers.
There are only a few clinics in the country with expertise in Artistic Sports Medicine
