They found 17 breeds in Hazel!

Some of Hazel's relatives came from Oklahoma (and that is where Wayside Waifs got Hazel!)

How much does she weigh: 60 pounds at about 8 months old.

Does she do well with strange dogs: Yes, Hazel loves meeting dogs, much better than George.

Any unique features: Only half Hazel's face is wrinkled, her coat is mostly fawn but her chest and tail have black markings, and she has a wavy "Z" hair line on her back. (see last picture)

Does Hazel act like George or Frank (other Mastiffs)?: Not at all. She jumps- they never did/have. She doesn't eat much- Frank and George eat/ate a ton. She is shy- George and Frank are/were very social with people. She is nice around other dogs- George and Frank are/were both dog aggressive. She has learned "sit" and "come" more quickly than George (Frank already knew them when I got him),

How much is she eating?: At about eight months old she is eating 2-3 cups of puppy food for large breed dogs. She gets several snacks a day and steals some of George's food too so it could be closer to 4-5 cups a day.

Anything that makes you think of her as a working dog?: When we go for daily walks she circles around me and George so I believe she has some herding dog of some kind as part of her.
