Every athlete, regardless of their sport, team, or long term goals deserves the best in sports friendly,
pediatric health-care for their safety today and their life-time goals in the future.
The wellbody business...
wellbody has no financial incentive, voting ability, or policy making in the business or contracts made
between teams and their athletes, customers, or partners.

There is no financial transaction between wellbody and the owners, coaches, athletes, or booster clubs
for wellbody's services or the relationship between wellbody and the teams. (Optional lectures and
classes may have a fee that is explained at the time of the specific event)

wellbody is an independent service that is not an employee, agent, partner, or owner of any of the teams.

Although wellbody does not involve itself in the policy making or philosophy of the individual teams-
each of the team's owners have discussed their philosophy with Dr. Goldstein before wellbody
involvement.

There is no absolute guarantee that any premier level sport is free from injury or risk. Each athlete and
parent should carefully evaluate their goals and expectations before making a commitment to any team.

wellbody assists teams in preventative injury care and healthy options during sport- but does not
guarantee any sport or team is injury free, risk free, or the best choice for your child.

wellbody does believe participating teams offer premier level sports in an ethical, fun environment.
Careful evaluation is made to see that wellbody's philosophy continues to support each team's
philosophy before continued participation. There is no contract or obligation for wellbody to continue
its services with any club or team.

Individual athletes receiving care from Dr. Goldstein have a patient/physician relationship following the
policies of the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.

Dr. Randy Goldstein is a board certified
pediatrician with an interest in sports
medicine. He is a team physician for
several premier clubs in the Kansas City
area and the personal physician for several
elite level athletes in the region.

Dr. Goldstein's philosophy involves
treating all athletes with the plan that the
patient can safely enjoy the sport now
realizing all of their accomplishments are
not yet realized and may lead to an
exciting college scholarship,  an
international / Olympic opportunity, or a
professional career in sport. But all, no
matter what, should have a lifetime of
enjoyment of their sport in the future.
Some clinicians might say, “Take two weeks off, and you will feel better.”
That seems obvious- anyone can tell you that in two weeks of rest, you will feel better—
in fact, most people in the work-force would desire such a two week break! How many of
their managers would agree, “Sure, take two weeks off!” How many of these people
taking such a break would remain as sharp or productive as their working colleagues?
Coaches play the same role as a manager- demanding excellence, good attendance,
and daily progress.

Sometimes there is a quick solution while other times two weeks of treatment is actually
necessary- what the athlete does during that two days or two weeks is crucial for a
rapid return to sport once the treatment is done.

It takes a pediatrician with a sports medicine interest to get a young athlete
back as quickly as possible, while still staying safe and remembering the
athlete is a growing adolescent.

wellbody offers injury prevention, rehabilitation, and healthcare for young
athletes!
wellbody takes pride in caring for today’s and tomorrow’s champions.

wellbody is careful to use specialists with the same interest and
understanding of competitive youth sports.

Some of the specialists include orthopedics, physical therapists, nutritionists,
massage therapy, psychology, allergy and asthma, disordered eating,
endocrine and growth.
